BMW Featured in Movie “Overdrive” with Scott Eastwood

Expect to see the best of BMW in the upcoming movie “Overdrive,” featuring Scott Eastwood and Ana de Armas. The exclusive screenings were held in Berlin and Paris where the lucky fans had the chance to meet Eastwood and BMW representatives.

With this film, BMW is continuing to develop its collaboration with the movie industry.

“Overdrive” tells the story of two brothers, Andrew (Eastwood) and Garreth (Freddie Thorp), specialized in stealing exclusive cars. They find themselves on the French Riviera, trying to steal a valuable collection belonging to Jacomo Morier (Simon Abkarian), the local gangster.

As for the BMW models featured in the film, there is the new BMW M3, 6 Series Gran Coupe, 4 Series Convertible, i8, and the vintage BMW 327, along with other Bavarian cars and motorcycles.

Eastwood didn’t hide his enthusiasm about the project:

Shooting with BMW cars is always incredible! The BMW 327 is such a beautiful vintage model and you cannot feel unimpressed by it. Riding the M3’s hood was another beast though and you could clearly feel the car’s dynamism, a bit similar to the new BMW 5 Series I worked on.

The movie will open worldwide by the end of June.
