Five BMW Group models win at the “iF Design Award 2017”

Five BMW Group models were awarded at the internationally renowned “iF Design Award 2017”. The models honored were the MINI VISION NEXT 100, the ROLLS-ROYCE VISION NEXT 100, the BMW Motorrad VISION NEXT 100 and the BMW Concept X2 in the category “Mobility / Professional Concept” for their innovative design and their future-oriented technologies. The “iF Gold Award 2017” is highly coveted and was bagged by the BMW 5 Series Sedan in the category “Automobiles / Product”. This is another affirmation of the outstanding work performed by BMW design.

The jury decided that the highest accolade, the “International Forum Design” winner, should be the BMW 5 Series Sedan. The design is elegant and dynamic, yet very innovative in the “Automobiles / Product” category.

Five “iF Awards 2017” were given to BMW Designworks which is BMW Group’s Company for mobility, lifestyle, user interaction and sport products. The jury recognized and awarded the lifestyle shoe Puma X-CAT and the Revlon Pro Brushes, a series of ergonomic make-up brushes, and the tracked excavator 1050K Crawler, the BMW Racing Wheelchair, and the concept BMW Vision Ride Helmet.

The iF Design Award is one of the world’s most significant design prizes. Only the best in quality and excellent design are selected and awarded by a jury comprising of 58 international design experts.
