In a vibrant celebration in Bangkok, the excitement for the 2025 MotoGP season was palpable as fans and teams gathered. The event, set in the modern One Bangkok district, was marked by the debut of the new BMW M5 Touring MotoGP Safety Car—a fresh addition to the iconic safety fleet that has long been part of the sport’s heritage.
The celebration started with a spirited parade led by the sleek new Safety Car, with every MotoGP rider proudly riding in formation. A dynamic stage show captivated the crowd and was broadcast live worldwide, ensuring that local and global fans could share in the excitement.
BMW M GmbH expressed enthusiasm over the launch, highlighting the cutting-edge M HYBRID powertrain, which pairs a high-revving V8 engine with an electric motor. This advanced setup reinforces the company’s dedication to innovation and high performance, ensuring that touring and sedan variants deliver dynamic agility essential for racetrack duty.
The unveiling also underscored BMW M’s long-standing partnership with MotoGP, a collaboration that began over two decades ago.
