A mid-cycle redesign has given the BMW 3 Series a fresh, modern look. However, the pre-LCI model was already rather attractive. It featured sharply angled headlamps, kidney grilles that were just the right size, and a surprisingly understated overall design for a BMW. The new LCI, thankfully, has maintained its attractive understatement while sharpening some features to give it a sportier vibe. This fresh photo collection showcases the updated 2023 BMW M340i in pristine Frozen Pure Grey.
This redesigned 3 Series is a breath of fresh air amid a sea of X7s, 7 Series, and 4 Series. Frozen Grey’s matte finish gives it a more elegant look up close. Also, it complements the M340i’s black trim nicely.
The BMW 3 Series Facelift has a kidney grille that is “much more muscular and striking,” now finished in glossy black with a chrome frame and double slats. …or a mesh layout is an alternative. The sports car’s headlights are smaller and sharper than before, in the shape of an upside-down “L” made of LEDs. BMW’s M340i Facelift M Performance model has blue accented adaptive LED headlights. The new 3 Series no longer has dedicated fog lights; instead, they are incorporated into the main headlights for simplicity.
A sharper angular, shark-like snout and a much narrower space between the kidneys and bumper are results of laws meant to protect pedestrians. The BMW’s new front fascia is primarily responsible for the added 4mm to the car’s overall length. As a top-tier BMW model, the M340i excels in various driving conditions. It can reach 60mph in less than four seconds thanks to its 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine’s 382 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. The M4 is more powerful, quicker, and more comfortable than the E46 and E92 M3. The M340i lacks the precision and finesse of prior M3s, yet it exceeds them. The F80 M3 may be unable to keep up with its speed in the real world.
