The 3 Series lineup has a lot of colour options as seen in the 2023 BMW M340i’s arrival. This revamped version is no different and comes in nine different hues. Regular colours include Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Mineral White, and Melbourne Red. But if you’re looking for something unique, consider the three greys: Skyscraper Grey, Dravit Grey, and Brooklyn Grey. The M340i has a sophisticated and sporty appearance thanks to its light grey paint that reacts differently in different lighting.
The BMW office commissioned the photoshoot to showcase the refurbished M340i from Romania. Shadowline hides external anatomical features and is an exterior enhancement. The blacked-out kidney grille now has a bigger honeycomb. The makeover also includes blackened M-shaped side mirrors. Side skirts, a trunk lid spoiler, a front bumper lip, and a trunk “M340i” badge are also included. Even the essentially unaltered taillights get the Shadowline touch. An M Sport Steering Wheel and M-specific upholstery round out the M Sport Package’s modernised interior. Like the BMW i4, the updated inside of the 3 Series Facelift has BMW’s latest digital gauges, a digital instrument cluster, and the new iDrive 8 infotainment system. In addition, BMW has reduced the complexity of the centre console by using a minimum of switches. Another 2023 improvement is a compact gear selector.
BMW’s B58 engine was upgraded and the 2023 BMW M340i’s mild-hybrid system adds 11 hp. Even after redesigned, the 3.0 litre inline-six engine can produce 374 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The sedan can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds, whereas the waggon requires an additional two-tenths of a second due to its slightly heavier curb weight. The maximum speed limit for either is 155 mph due to an electronic governor.
