Despite the company’s SUV obsession and some questionable design choices, BMW still knows how to produce a gorgeous sedan. The 3 Series underwent a Life Cycle Impulse earlier this year, but the cosmetic updates didn’t cause too much of a stir. The M340i, often regarded as the best of the bunch, is shown above; it has a conventional front grille but is actually powered by a potent six-cylinder engine.
This xDrive sports sedan’s Black Sapphire Metallic paint looks amazing with the dark kidney grille and black 19-inch wheels. The brake callipers are a flashy shade of red, and the car is decked out with 50th anniversary M badges. The LCI gave the M340i the smaller and sharper-looking headlamps found on the lesser 3er models, as well as the M-style side mirrors.
The M340i’s carbon fibre roof will be available in 2023. Only the sedan has the lightweight roof, not M Performance or M Touring. This Canadian-spec car has Tacora Red synthetic leather upholstery.
