2025 BMW M4: Customize Now with US Configurator

The Life Cycle Impulse launch in late January saw European BMW branches update their M4 LCI configurations. However, Americans needed several weeks to finalize their ideal G82 configurations. The 2025 BMW M4 Coupe is completely customizable on the US website—a welcome update, albeit delayed.

The M4 Coupe comes in three variants: the standard M4 Coupe, M4 Competition Coupe, and M4 Competition xDrive Coupe. Prices start at $79,100 for the base model. The more potent rear-wheel-drive variant is priced at $83,200. Choosing an all-wheel drive costs $88,300, including a $995 shipping fee. Regardless of the model, each features the laser taillights debuted on the M4 CSL, also found on the exclusive 3.0 CSL.

The LCI update brings new 825M forged wheels in bright silver to all M4 models. This update also features new headlights with an LED module for both low and high beams, replacing the older laser technology. These headlights also serve as daytime running lights, marked by two arrow-shaped vertical LED modules.

Additionally, optional black or red body decals, previously available only in Europe since mid-2022, can now adorn the M4. A steel roof option is available at no extra cost, complete with an electrically sliding glass section. When chosen, this steel roof always sports a glossy black look.

The M4’s exterior now features a silver-outlined M emblem on the trunk and a glossy black BMW roundel. Inside, updates include softer synthetic leather on the dashboard, the new iDrive 8.5 system, revamped air vents, and a flat-bottomed steering wheel. The standard interior boasts Dark Graphite matte trim around the centre console, cupholder, and dashboard. This trim can be upgraded to a Finely Polished Aluminum finish for an extra fee.

BMW’s innovations for the M4 don’t stop here; the limited-edition CS special edition is set to debut later this year. Additionally, the US configurator now includes the regular 4 Series models, available in two- and four-door configurations, along with the M4 Convertible.
