Schubert Motorsport enters the 2024 DTM season with a highlight: their home race in Oschersleben, where they’ll debut three BMW M4 GT3s. DTM champions Rast, van der Linde, and Wittmann aim for podiums and victories with BMW M Motorsport partners.
These drivers boast impressive DTM records: Rast with three titles and 26 wins, Wittmann with two titles and 18 wins, and van der Linde with one title and five wins. This marks Schubert Motorsport’s third DTM season, following a debut win in 2022 and a fourth-place team finish last season.
The BMW M4 GT3s showcased strength during official testing in Hockenheim, collecting valuable data for the upcoming races in Oschersleben. The action-packed weekend also includes the ADAC GT Masters and ADAC GT4 Germany. Head of Customer Racing at BMW M Motorsport, Björn Lellmann, expresses excitement for the event, noting the impressive lineup of BMW M Motorsport cars and teams.
Torsten Schubert, Team Principal of Schubert Motorsport, anticipates a successful season opener at their hometown despite challenges posed by the Oschersleben circuit. Drivers Wittmann, van der Linde, and Rast express confidence in their preparations and aim for strong performances.
