BMW introduces the M440i xDrive Legacy Edition, a limited-run luxury model in Canada. With just 300 units, it features the M Sport Package, adaptive M suspension, 20-inch Individual wheels, and carbon fiber interior trim. Other perks include heated seats and a wireless smartphone charger.
The Legacy Edition comes in six versions, with unique looks and colors like Black Sapphire, Brooklyn Grey, Mineral White, Violet Red, and Aurora Diamond Green. The 75 cars with an Individual exterior also boast an M Performance exhaust system. Under the hood, all units house the B58 engine, a turbocharged inline-six with 382 horsepower, reaching 0 to 62 mph in four and a half seconds.
Production starts this month in Germany at the Dingolfing factory, with Canadian dealerships receiving the first units in January 2024 at $81,750 CAD. This marks a milestone as the 4 Series Gran Coupe becomes available in Canada, moving from the exclusive i4.
Rumors swirl about BMW’s G26 LCI in M Performance guise, hinting at a shift to xDrive-only. Similar expectations surround the facelifted G22 Coupe and G23 Convertible, set to debut at various points next year. The automotive world anticipates BMW’s next chapter in luxury and performance.
