Markus Flasch, former M boss, shared a few photos of a very special M4. Indeed, the illuminated M hood logo looks stunning on this custom BMW M4.
BMW Spoiled customers for the BMW M4. Aside from the standard options, other special additions are available for the M4. Customers may choose an Individual paint or have M Performance parts. The configurator also gives them the freedom to form their ideal version of the car.
But being the former M boss surely has its perks. Markus Flasch shared images of a custom M4. This special creation has exposed carbon fiber covers on the hood. We have seen this on the M4 CSL as well. But the real star here is the massive illuminated M hood logo.
BMW illuminated the “world’s most powerful letter†to ensure it is visible even at night. The font for the “///M†looks the same as the Concept XM. However, a closer look reveals that this logo has a transparent inner section. The see-through design is a genius idea. It gives a fantastic view of the M Power lettering on the engine cover.
However, before you build your hopes up, this M4 is a one-off build at this stage.
Fans will agree that this design is usually more applicable for mid-engined bimmers. But the illuminated M hood logo here is on top of a matte green M4 Competition. Unfortunately, BMW seems to have no plans on providing this hood soon. Still, this sneak peek gave some ideas for the tuners. It will not come as a surprise if an aftermarket shop offers the exact replica of this design.
Markus Flasch is currently the head of the Luxury Class at BMW. He is also the man behind the Neue Klasse. These EV platforms will arrive in 2025 with a 3er-sized electric model.
