India Launches the BMW M4 Competition Coupe 50 Jahre M Edition

This M4 is the fourth limited edition model to be released in the market in as quick as a month. To celebrate M’s 50th anniversary, the company will release six more of its exclusive M and M Sport models.

The BMW M4 Competition Coupe 50 Jahre M Edition features 50th-anniversary badges for both the front and rear bumpers and the centres of the wheels. Glossy black details are all over the body, especially on the mirror caps and adaptive LED headlights with laser technology. Upgrades include black chrome quad exhaust tips and 19- and 20-inch 826 M double-spoke alloys. The automobile is available in various colours upon request, including Imola Red and Macao Blue.

BMW India hasn’t released interior photos, but the M4 includes three-zone automatic climate control, heated seats with lumbar support, and electronic adjustment with a memory function. M Performance Parts, including a carbon fibre/Alcantara steering wheel and carbon exhaust tips, are available for an upcharge. 50 Jahre Edition features a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, wireless charging, a head-up display, and more. The M3 Sedan has OS 8, whereas the coupe has the older iDrive with a 10.25-inch centre screen.

Since the 3.0-litre inline-six S58 engine hasn’t been updated, it still generates 510 horsepower and 650 Nm (478 lb-ft) of torque, making it capable of sprinting from zero to sixty-two miles per hour in 3.5 seconds. To review, the rear-wheel-drive M4 needs an extra 0.4 seconds to reach 60 mph.
