The 8 Series LCI was BMW’s first release of 2022, but it also had the fewest improvements. The least impressive new BMW model for 2022 was the 8 Series LCI, which debuted at the beginning of the year. The 8er Coupé, 8er Convertible, and 8er Gran Coupe are all included.
The four-door M850i shown here comes in a popular San Remo Green Metallic paint that looks fantastic on any BMW. The M Performance version is only available with xDrive. It does not include the 50th-anniversary emblems featured on other models throughout 2022.
Even after the introduction of the LCI, the G16, a striking sedan with a hidden grille, does not interest the public. All 2023 versions will offer illuminated kidneys, the M Sport Package, and Individual Merino leather upholstery. The upgraded M850i has a Tartufo/Black interior with a 12.3-inch iDrive 7 screen (10.25 inches). The digital instrument cluster and the touchscreen have the same diagonal, allowing for a somewhat symmetrical design.
3 Series LCI, 7 Series G70, and X7 LCI have iDrive 8 and a smaller gear selector. BMW’s 8 Series Gran Coupe is advertised as 4+1 yet only has a middle seat.
