It seems like we’re about to get a new M truck in a few years: BMW will be launching the X4 M SUV in 2019. The new model will join the X3 M crossover, which should be launched in 2018.
We are getting an elegant, aggressive, sporty car with classical features of M design. It will sit lower and have a better stance. There is a line from the front wheel arch to the rear lights on both sides. Cool detail: rear lights finally come with full LED light technology. Similar to all the new BMW models, this one will feature an infotainment display with a touchscreen.
Under the hood is where things get interesting. The new X3 M will come with the S55 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, providing between 450 and 500 HP, and we can only expect the X4 M to have similar or even better output.
