Right-Hand Drive BMW M4 CSL Makes Public Debut

The Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this year was a big event when the left-hand-drive BMW M4 CSL came out. However, many are also anticipating the arrival of this Competition Sport Lightweight’s right-hand-drive version. And at last, we are seeing this version but for the United Kingdom consumers only. We are to expect limited to 100 units or 10% only of the expected production as well. Outfitted in Frozen Brooklyn Grey colour, this third-gen CSL also has red accents and BMW’s 50th anniversary M emblems on its photo debut.

The BMW M4 CSL, like the LHD version, will be sold solely as a two-seater given that the rear bench was removed to lighten the weight. From its retuned inline-six engine, this RHD version also boasts an additional 40 horsepower. Aside from that, this exceptional coupe is 100 kilos lighter than the M4 Competition Coupe on which it is based. All vehicles also send power to the rear axle as they come with an automatic transmission.

Starting at £128,820, the UK-spec M4 CSL gets you the fastest production BMW to lap the Nürburgring at 7:15.677. You also have the option to have it painted in Sapphire Black or Alpine White. The CSL keeps the iDrive 7. However, the new infotainment system is available in the 2023 M3 Sedan and M3 Touring.

The M4 CSL comes standard with laser headlights and taillights, serving a flawless debut for a BMW. It is also the most costly M4 of them all, at least until the 3.0 CSL arrives in November. This model also comes with a pair of exclusive bucket seats. Lastly, the M4 CSL also gets bespoke 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels with carbon-ceramic brakes.

BMW UK offers buyers various high-tech features, for instance, a head-up display. Buyers can get this option when they opt for their Ultimate Road Pack. This bundle includes perks such as electrically folding mirrors with automatic dimming. It also includes a wireless charging pad, the Driving and Park Assistants, and Comfort Access.

Finally, the M3 Touring will also be on sale in the United Kingdom. Thanks to the green light signal of the higher-ups from Munich after the local division. The decision also became possible with the help of the equivalent branches in Japan and Australia.
