In the past weeks, BMW has filed several trademarks with the World Intellectual Property Organization. The new filings suggest that there may be an entire range of new “CS†models coming up. Trademarks were filed from the M1 CS through M8 CS.
The track aficionados will be thrilled to know that the engines of these models will most likely be the same as the standard M models with a small power bump. It will be comprised of lightweight materials and aerodynamic parts such as the front splitter and rear wing/spoiler.
With these trademarks filed, the possibility of a BMW M8 is more attainable. It may be powered by a 6.0 liter twin-turbocharged V12 with more capacity, mated to an xDrive all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic gearbox to handle the torque.
