Despite the worldwide popularity of the new BMW M2, not many tuners have shown us what they are preparing for it. We saw how Hamann wheels look on the M2, but that’s about it for now. Today, we present the work done by AC Schnitzer. They have finally decided to share with the world what they have in the store for the new ‘baby-M’.
At the moment, we get to see only the preview of what will be a complete BMW M2 program. Things are looking very good, though. The project car they are working on has received a few separate wheel models, new aerodynamic parts, and an exciting exhaust system. Even now the car is starting to look different, and we can only imagine the final outcome to be absolutely stunning.
Some of the announced changes include a front bumper splitter, carbon fiber front side wings, carbon rear diffuser, carbon boot lid spoiler, rear roof spoiler, rear skirt protection foil, and mirror covers. Besides the enhanced aerodynamics, the M2 will also get a new, adjustable suspension setup that will set the car 30-40mm lower.
We still don’t know if they are doing something to the engine. The performance is expected to change and we believe the upgraded car will easily have over 400 HP. No better way to enjoy the new output than with the new exhaust offered by AC Schnitzer within this kit.
