The first impression reviews are one thing, but it’s completely different how the car performs over a course of time. That’s why Car and Driver provided an update on the M2 after driving it for 65,000 km.

The car came to C&D with an optional seven-speed DCT, although they wanted a manual one. Still, that little mistake didn’t take anything away off the awesomnes of the car. The M2 runs on a 3.0-liter turbocharged I6 engine and is good for 365 HP. It needs 4.1 seconds to get from 0 to 100 km/h.

Car and Driver reported only one issue in their long-term review – apparently, the early M2s had some differential issues and they happened to get the flawed model. For a car of this class, having no other difficulties in the given timeframe is amazing.
