As the resident darling of the car enthusiast world at the moment, the BMW M2 is often seen as following the footsteps of BMW E46 M3. The similarities are evident in size, performance and driving dynamics. In true comparison, the M2 is a lot better because it is agile and more powerful. It’s a completely different sports car from the BMW E46 M3. Check out how it looks with a racing wrap and new wheels.
Under the hood, the BMW M2 is run by a 3.0-liter straight-six engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology. This mill is capable of delivering 370 horsepower. When wearing the 7-speed M Dual Clutch Transmission system option, it propels from 0 to 62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.3 seconds.
Thanks to a very sophisticated chassis technology and electronics work, BMW engineers were able to reduce the car’s weight significantly. Its response and rigidity is made better by upgrading the aerodynamics and cooling.
This BMW M2 is a work by ATT-TEC Performance. The aftermarket additions on this car include new BBS wheels, particularly the BBS CI-R lightweight model, and a very cool racing wrap. A set of KW Suspension Variante 3 coilovers and Eventuri Air Intake system were also added. ATT-TEC plans to add more enhancements in the near future.
The wrap reminds us of the historical BMW M racing colors during the ’80s and ’90s.
