The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde is a very serious competitor for both the BMW M3 Competition Package and the Cadillac ATS-V. The best way to find out who tops performance would be a drag race. Check it out on the video below:
The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde is track ready with a Ferrari-developed 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 delivering no less than 503 hp (510 PS). It also claims to be lighter than the BMW and is top of class in terms of power/weight ratio.
The BMW M3 Competition Package is powered by a 3-liter twin-turbo straight six engine delivering 444 HP (450 PS). Thanks to suspension upgrades, it reaches 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds flat. That still falls behind by two seconds compared to the Italian competitor.
The Cadillac ATS-V on the other hand is powered by the largest engine among the three: a 3.6-liter V6 that’s been twin-turbocharged, delivering 464 HP (470 PS). It is the heaviest and slowest at 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds.
The video shows how close the competition is between the Italian and the German, despite being behind on paper.
