BMW M4 25k Mile Review by Nick Murray

In buying any car, customers are not only interested to know what the car looks like now, but a more important question is: how will it hold up in the long term? In this video, Nick Murray gives an update of how his BMW M4 is holding up now that it has done 25k miles.

It is quite surprising that there are no major issues encountered in the car, despite it being so technical and high-strung. Commonly, customers experience glitches in technology or issues of that sort in cars like these but not this BMW M car. If anything, he only experienced “dealer incompetence” which doesn’t really matter in the actual performance of the car.

The only fault found was the design in the visors. They are placed in an area that can be hit by the front seat when it’s moved down, thus causing the mirror to break. However, the dealer has replaced every broken mirror Murray’s had.

One interesting tip from Murray is a rundown on some of the options that are worth getting and not worth getting in his opinion. He would prefer the manual transmission and he fell in love with the DCT so these are must haves for him. Among the list of the items he thinks is not worth buying is the driver assistance package and parking assist feature.

Overall, Murray claims that it still drives like brand new even after 18 months of driving and 25k miles. Now that’s impressive! Most drivers want to hold on to that “brand new” feeling as long as possible and this car definitely gives that to the customer. Who doesn’t want a car that ages very slowly? That’s true value for money from BMW M right there.
