BMW M4 GT3 Shines on the IMSA Podium

The BMW M4 GT3 has proven its worth as one of BMW’s most impressive racing cars. Finishing third in the GTD PRO class, third place in the GTD class, and fourth place in the Paul Miller Racing, the BMW M4 GT3 shines on the 2022 IMSA podium.

BMW M4 GT3 Shines on the IMSA Podium

Scoring the team’s first podium on this year’s IMSA season, the M4 GT3 placed third in the GTD PRO class. Connor De Phillippi and John Edwards took the wheels as co-drivers of the No. 25 MOTUL BMW M Team RLL. Finishing third place at the Monterey Sports Car Championship earned the team’s 95th podium finish for the BMW M Team RLL since 2009.

De Philippi and Edwards did a fantastic race as they completed 107 laps of the classic Laguna Seca circuit within two hours and forty minutes with the M4 GT3.

For the GTD class, Bill Auberlen and Robby Foley took the No. 96 Turner Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 to its first podium of this year’s season. Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow scored a fourth place at the Paul Miller Racing with the No. 1 BMW M4 GT3. With the BMW team’s record at Long Beach, the BMW M4 GT3 shines the brightest on the 2022 IMSA podium.

Bobby Rahal, the Team Principal, shared that they are delighted with their effort and the first podium finish they scored. Also, he commended Connor and John for putting up a good fight for the team. Rahal expressed how proud he is of their team.

The BMW M Team RLL will return to the IMSA from June 23 to 26 at the Watkins Glen International. They will compete for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen. The GTD teams are also preparing for their next IMSA race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course starting from May 13 to 15.
