BMW M4 GTS Posts 502 WTQ on Dyno

The BMW M4 GTS was always supposed to be the highly improved version of M4. However, that brings along the smaller possibility for further upgrades, or at least the engineers thought so. Creative tuners have proved them wrong.

This M4 GTS in the video above is a true example. The owner replaced the stock mid pipes to gain better sound and a small increase in horsepower. He actually got more than he had hoped for. The video shows that the car’s total output is 490 HP at the wheels.

Even if you consider the transmission loss of around 1o%, the engine output reaches impressive 540 HP and 502 WTQ (680 Nm). The final result is a car similar by its power to the BMW F10 M5, but lighter than 1.5 tons.
