As expensive at it may seem, the BMW M4 GTS has gotten lukewarm reviews so far. Enthusiasts have started to question if the car is really worth its price. In this video, Doug DeMuro explains the dynamics of the BMW M4 GTS pricing and why this is actually the same thing with the 911 GT3 RS.
The video does highlight some strange characteristics of the BMW M4 GTS but all of these are rather forgivable, including commonly criticised factors such as the water-injection system and manually adjustable suspension. Interior elements such as the fabric door pulls, carbon fiber composite door panels and funky seats were also pointed out.
Initially, DeMuro didn’t want to drive the car for fear of damaging it (one of the 300 in the United States), but eventually agrees to do so. He didn’t regret it. The suspension is stiff but it is supposed to be stiff according to DeMuro because this is not the type of car you go cross-country with. It lives and breathes the track and is a hardcore sportscar. Now that is worth every penny.
