BMW named official car for Singapore International Water Week 2016

For the first time in history, BMW was named as the official limousine for the 7th Singapore International Water Week (SIWW). The biennial event was held last 10-14 July 2016 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bays Sands in Singapore. A total of 120 BMW limousines were deployed to serve as courtesy fleet for the dignitaries and delegates. The VIPs were driven in the BMW 5 Series executive sedan and BMW 3 Series sports sedan variants.

SIWW plays a big role in Singapore government’s initiative to grow and develop the water industry in the country. The event serves as a global platform that promotes sharing and co-creating innovative water technologies and solutions.

For SIWW’s 7th edition this year, attendees included stakeholders from the global water industry. They used the time to share best practices, start dialogues on pressing challenges, and showcase the latest technologies in the global water industry.

SIWW was held in conjunction with CleanEnviro Summit Singapore. CleanEnviro was part of the World Cities Summit 2016 for government leaders and industry experts.

The BMW Group is committed to reducing water consumption per vehicle produced by 45 per cent by 2020 and will continue to provide passengers with a smooth, comfortable, luxury experience.”
