In a new video, the often-underestimated F98 BMW X4 M steps out of the X6 M’s shadow, taking on the Autobahn to demonstrate its potent S58 engine’s capabilities. Since BMW’s mid-2021 Life Cycle Impulse update, the latest X4 M only comes in the thrilling Competition form. Boasting 510 horsepower and 650 Newton-meters of torque, it shoots from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a staggering 3.8 seconds. Yet, in recent real-world tests, this over 2,000-kilogram beast defied expectations, clocking the sprint in just 3.75 seconds.
