[VIDEO] 2024 BMW X4 M Blazes Through Autobahn Speed Test

In a new video, the often-underestimated F98 BMW X4 M steps out of the X6 M’s shadow, taking on the Autobahn to demonstrate its potent S58 engine’s capabilities. It’s not just a drive; it’s a statement of power and elegance, ready to change perspectives and command attention. Witness the BMW X4 M redefine speed and style, offering a heart-racing experience steeped in BMW’s legacy. It’s the X4 M’s time to shine, promising a ride that balances speed, power, and grace in a statement-making performance.

Since BMW’s mid-2021 Life Cycle Impulse update, the latest X4 M only comes in the thrilling Competition form. Boasting 510 horsepower and 650 Newton-meters of torque, it shoots from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a staggering 3.8 seconds. Yet, in recent real-world tests, this over 2,000-kilogram beast defied expectations, clocking the sprint in just 3.75 seconds. It’s not just a speedster; it’s a testament to BMW’s commitment to pushing boundaries and redefining performance. It also promises adrenaline-pumping rides each time you hit the road.

The X4 M Competition recently stunned in tests. It achieves 0-200 km/h in 13.13 seconds and completes a quarter-mile in 11.66 seconds. It sprinted from 100 to 200 km/h in just 9.38 seconds, showcasing remarkable speed. The dash noted a peak of 174 mph (281 km/h). GPS also confirmed a top speed of 170 mph (274 km/h). With the M Driver’s Package, BMW hints at a potential max speed of 177 mph (285 km/h), promising adrenaline-fueled adventures for speed enthusiasts.

If you’re eyeing this distinct M vehicle, act swiftly; insiders report BMW will not offer a third-generation X4 with combustion engines. The upcoming iteration will exclusively feature an EV variant, resting on the innovative Neue Klasse platform. Dubbed internally as “ZA7,” the next robust M offering showcases BMW’s electrifying future.

As for the present X4 M’s tenure remains undetermined, but predictions see the standard X4 (G02) ending its production by November 2025. Following this, the eagerly awaited iX4, coded “NA7” and grounded on the Neue Klasse blueprint, is set to debut, elevating the brand’s electric journey.
