In markets such as the United States, the BMW X5 has long been one of the brand’s best-selling and popular cars. As a result, any special editions are unnecessary to keep things thrilling for the premium luxury SUV. Despite that, BMW offered a limited run of special editions based on the BMW SAV and X6 SAC to spice things up. The sold exclusive cars are under the badge of BMW X5 and X6 Vermilion.
Vermilion Edition’s first units arrive at the dealers in the United States after a few months. To highlight the X5 Vermilion’s eye-catching features, the local Autohaus BMW set up a photoshoot for the X5 in St. Louis. The red bars of both models and the double kidney grille are the beginning. It forms a beautiful contrast to the Frozen Black metallic of the BMW Individual special paint finish. The distinctive look of the front end consists of the Shadow Line M headlights with BMW laser light and accentuated lighting with blue X signature.
The M High Gloss Shadow Line also features extended options such as 22-inch double-spoke 742 M alloy wheels in Orbit Grey matt finish. This kit consists of a set of red high-gloss M Sport brake callipers. It includes the M Alcantara Anthracite headlining in the BMW X5 and BMW X6 Black Vermilion versions. Its cup holder with a finely designed edition logo in black BMW Individual piano lacquer underlines the exclusivity of the limited edition model.
Furthermore, the BMW Individual full leather trim Merino Black maintains the black/red motif. It includes stitching for both drivers’ and front passengers with their edition-specific red contrast. Likewise, red accents are also found on the rear seats of the BMW X5 Black Vermilion. And a nice touch of red edging on both the front and rear floor mats as well.
The BMW X5 Black Vermilion with the xDrive40i production schedule in the United States is from September to December 2021 with around 350 reserved units.
