BMW successfully stunned the automotive world by introducing the the BMW X2 Concept. This vehicle will pave the way for the design language of the upcoming X2 SAV which will likely be launched in the first quarter of 2018. The BMW X2 will be front-wheel drive and built on the same UKL architecture as the X1. An xDrive all-wheel drive will also available. Here are some live photos from Paris:
The character of the X2 Concept really breaks through. It has “Xâ€s in the headlights, roundels on the C-pillars, a sporty and aggressive roof line, short front overhang, large signature kidney grilles, angry and narrow headlights, massive air intakes in the front, pseudo rear diffuser at the end, and other small details really give out a unique look.
It is the sportiest looking SUV that BMW has ever produced and if paired with the right price point, it can easily succeed in the market.
The power should come from BMW four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. A BMW 1.5 liter turbo three-pot engine is a possibility.
