[Video] Review of the 400HP AC Schnitzer Z4 in action

When it comes to tuning BMWs, one of the experts in this line are the guys from AC Schnitzer. They’ve been in this business for so long that they had already established a name and trust among fans, especially of Bavarian models.

In addition, they are one of the very few who comes with warranty on their products. Which is actually great, as no model is “safe” out there. And with the German tuner, they offer packages for almost the entire range.

Today, we get to see an extensive review of the upgraded AC Schnitzer Z4 model. As you know, the Z4 comes with a B58 engine which delivers a 340 HP, which is pretty powerful. That much power from a small car sounds really incredible and fun, compare to other cars with the same engine. Especially that the Z4 comes in RWD guise.

The kit that comes in the upgrade takes the power 40 ponies higher – 400 HP. It may not be a huge increase to some but it’s definitely enough to get things going and get noticeable changes in the car. In the video, they showed how this tuned model perform and accelerate from 100 km/h (62 mph).

For a rear-wheel drive car, putting those down to 400 horses can become a minor issue, particularly when launching. Therefore, with the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint, it wouldn’t be as fast as the standard model. However, the speed piles up and accumulate into a rapid pace. Check out the video now and find out whether this is the acceleration you’re searching for.
