Motor Trend Channel has published a video in which they compare the 2016 BMW 750i and 2015 Mercedes-Benz S550. The 7 Series and S Class have been rivals since they first came to the market. While the Mercedes model has always been the symbol of luxury, the BMW’s 7er might have just what it takes to beat it. No better way to find out than to see them next to each other.
The drag race conditions are specific because there’s no scenario in which the owners would drive their cars like that. Mercedes has better numbers in terms of power, measuring 449 HP and 516 lb-ft of torque, while the BMW runs on 445 HP and 480 lb-ft of toque. Not much of a difference, really.
