Video: The Elvis BMW 507 Roadster Restoration Process

Owned by the King of Rock and Roll, this 507 was too precious to just be disregarded. Elvis Presley is an icon and the BMW Classic Group wanted so badly to revive it. As we’ve seen in the photos at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, it has already been restored back to its former glory. But how was it done? How did BMW Classic achieve this beautifully restored car? Check out the restoration process this video:

Many years back, Elvis saw Hans Stuck driving this 507 and was struck by its beauty. He promised himself to drive on while he was stationed out in Germany during his military service years.

Elvis was not quite happy with the white color that the 507 wore so he had it painted red. For many years, people thought it was lost. However, it was discovered by Jackie Jouret from Bimmer-Mag in the barn of one Jack Castor. Well, good thing it was found!
