A few weeks ago, BMW Films launched their latest short film entitled “The Escape”. The past BMW Films clearly showed the world what these movies are made for: to show off BMWs as they’re meant to be driven. So people already knew what to expect in this new film. It looks like BMW has really tapped on the curiosity of the crowd at “The Escape” ad becomes the 7th most watched ad on YouTube for October 2016.
Being the 7th most watched ad in YouTube means that is even beat the Donald Trump Presidential ad. Many factors have contributed to the heightened interest in the ad. There’s BMW, a globally known premium automaker, and a lot of big names involved in the film including Neill Blomkamp as the director, Clive Owen, Vera Farmiga, Dakota Fanning playing starring roles.
