Additional F90 BMW M5 Details Revealed in Belgium

A few hours ago, BMW M held an event in Belgium in celebration of the launch of the BMW M League. This league is a loyalty program for BMW M customers. As expected, there were a lot of M Cars present, plus good music for the guests, as is common with other BMW events. However, this event set itself apart because it featured something called the “Discovery Room”, which housed a F90 BMW M5 without any camouflage!

Additional F90 BMW M5 Details Revealed in Belgium

All the guests of the event were able to see the new M5 in all of its glory. There were no mobile phones or taking photos allowed in the Discovery Room since BMW did not want anything leaked. However, where car enthusiasts are present, there will always be sheer focus and attention on every detail of the car. Thankfully, all these details they can pass to us as they recall it.

From the guests we’ve learned that they were actually allowed by BMW to open the hood, trunk, doors, sit inside and play with everything except the engine. The nosiest of the guests saw that BMW forgot to cover up the VIN number under the hood, memorized it, and punched it into a decoder after leaving the room. From there, the person learned that it was a Marina Bay Blue Metallic M5 with Silverstone leather interior and a new sort of carbon fiber trim that feels smooth and dry.

The guests in Belgium thought that the psuedo double-bubble carbon fiber roof was very cool even if it is not the traditional double-bubble roof. The interior has a fully-digital gauge cluster. There’s also two new little red paddles on the top of the actual steering wheel that house the “M1” and “M2” buttons, rather than having them as little buttons on the steering wheel itself.

BMW surely knows how to get the crowd super excited about the M5 before its debut in September!
