First generation BMW X4 production ends March 2018

With the launch of the new BMW X4 G02 becoming nearer and nearer, it signals the production end of the first generation X4. The last BMW X4 of the current generation is expected to roll off the production line at BMW’s Spartanburg plant as early as March 2018. The production of the successor G02 will commence shortly after.

First generation BMW X4 production ends March 2018

BMW already announced that the X4 model will only have a shortened life cycle because when it was released, the technology brother X3 F25 had already received its facelift and thus begun the second half of its lifecycle.

The second generation of the BMW X4 uses the much more modern technology of the current X3 G01 which is expected to be more versatile for daily use, higher-quality interior, and equipped with lots of technology including the assistance and infotainment systems of the current X3.
