With the new 2017 BMW X5 pricing announced today, it’s obvious that it’s going to be a bit more expensive. A thing to note is that there is a new BMW kit coming with the increased prices, so the newest X5 might be a good investment after all.
Starting from the cheapest model, you can get the sDrive35i with the rear-wheel drive from $56,495, $800 more expensive than it was before. The same model with the all-wheel drive system will cost from $58,795, also a $800 increase from what it costs right now. The diesel model xDrive35d’s price will jump for $1,600, starting at $60,295.
Next is the xDrive40e model with the price unchanged – $63,095 – in an attempt to make the plug-in hybrid more popular among the SUV drivers. The most powerful of them all, the xDrive50i with 450 HP, will also be $800 more expensive. All these model will get more features in the standard package so that might justify the new prices.
The features for the 2017 BMW X5 include:
- new iDrive 5.0 infotainment system
- stainless steel underbody cladding front and rear
- silver matte kidney grille
- rocker panels and front air intakes
- Satin Aluminium roof rails and window trim
- new standard wheel design
- Anthracite headliner
They will all come as a part of a standard xLine package without additional financial compensation. There will also be an option of having the M Sport Package with its own special features for those who aren’t satisfied with the standard options.
