Another limited edition model is released in Japan in celebration of BMW’s 100th founding anniversary: the BMW M6 Celebration Edition model with a significant power increase. Though deliveries will happen towards the latter part of the year, it is still interesting to know what is on the pipeline.

This production will be fewer than most limited editions. Only thirteen of these babies will be made. Yes, you heard it right. Only thirteen units. This adds even more exclusivity to the car.

This particular BMW M6 comes with the Competition Package installed and a total power output of 600 HP and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, 40 HP and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) more than what the standard model. Now that’s something the car can brag about!

On top of the extra power, there are also a number of nice add-ons for your BMW M6 Coupe. The large coupe comes with M Carbon Ceramic brakes which saved weight for the car. The suspension and steering have also been reworked thanks to the Competition Package and the M Driver’s Package was installed for an increased top speed of up to 305 km/h (190 mph) while accelerating from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) should take just 3.9 seconds.

The BMW M6 Celebration Edition stands out on the road with Austin Yellow exterior paint. Some finishing touches include a CFRP boot lid spoiler, a new diffuser on the rear bumper along with blacked out kidney grilles up front and 20″ light alloy wheels. Individual Merino Leather in black graces the interior with yellow sews as well as carbon fiber trims and Alcantara elements.
