The BMW G30 5 Series that we are all waiting for will finally be unveiled in October this year. Naturally, the new model has been through various testings in the last couple of months, and this time it was spotted on the streets of San Francisco. Even with so little time until revealing, it is still completely camouflaged.
The G30 will be slightly bigger but lighter than the current F10 5 Series. Thanks to the carbon fiber parts and the CLAR platform, the 5er will drop around 100 kilograms. Sources say it will share the front axle with the new G20 3 Series.
It will also feature the Dynamic Drive option, which uses active stabilizers to prevent the vehicle from rolling in a corner.
On the spy photos, we can also see the full LED headlights which will come as a standard feature on the new 5 Series. Laser headlights will be an optional feature.
