According to news circulating on the interwebs, the upcoming F90 BMW M5 will not only do really well on the track, it will also be impressive in a straight line, running from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.6 seconds!
If this is true, then it is significantly faster than the F10 M5 model it is replacing that makes only 4.2 seconds. It will be powered by a new V8-Biturbo with a displacement of 4.4 liters and is also expected to deliver almost 600 hp. Higher power will be showed by later variants such as the BMW M5 CS.
There is also a possibility that the new M5 will have the ability to change from all-wheel drive to rear wheel drive in an instant and depending on what the driver wants at the moment. The all-wheel drive will be good to use on slippery ground due to great traction advantages.
BMW will unveil the new F90 M5 before 2017 ends and the market launch will be in early 2018.
