The new generation BMW 3 Series, dubbed G20, is supposed to have a fresh and edgy design and arrive at the market in late 2019. The existing renderings available online usually show it as based on the current 3 Series: it’s slimmer, with full LED headlights and larger front bumper. The newest one, published by AutoBild, is pretty much the same.
An interesting challenge was in front of the BMW design team. They had to design the new BMW 3 Series as a luxurious and technically advanced, but to make it the Ultimate Driving Machine at the same time. According to some sources, the G20 will have some cutting edge design lines and look more luxurious than its predecessor.
The dimensions are likely to stay the same as with the F30, except for the wheelbase that will be a few centimeters longer.
The engine kit is another thing that’s going to be improved. The new 3 Series will include a more powerful 48V engine and it will be released at the same time as the electrically driven compression.
