The upcoming G80 BMW M3 remains to be very mysterious since nobody knows what the next generation G20 BMW 3 Series will be like. The next-gen G80 BMW M3 has recently been caught doing some testing on Nurburgring but it still hard to make anything out of it because of the heavy camouflage. Since this is a very early prototype of the model, it may also have fake panels which also hides the design. It even has two different sets of wheels and unmatching brake calipers. If there’s anything we can see, that’s the rear lip spoiler, much like the current F90-gen BMW M5.
Other than this, we only have rumors around the details of the car. It’s likely to have a 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged I6 engine, an improved version of the B58 engine. Rumor has it that it could be a mild-hybrid with a 48-volt electric system; and we’ve also heard that it could have a regular eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, but nothing has been confirmed.
