We were all very excited about the new G20 3 Series hitting the market in 2019, but this rumor we’ve been hearing makes us a bit sad. Apparently, the BMW will ditch the Gran Tourismo from the future 3 Series generation.
Now, the model itself won’t completely vanish. It will be replaced (in a way) by a new 4 Series Gran Coup. The Bavarians thought that keeping the 3 Series GT along with the 4 Series Gran Coupe would be unnecessary. Instead, one model will cover the target market.
As for the G20 3 Series, we’re about to see some radical design (again, according to the rumors). It will hit the salons in 2018. The new 4 Series will come the following year and include convertible and coupe models.
