Presenting the first ever real life photos of the BMW M4 GTS wearing carbon compound wheels!
This car was spotted in Spain wearing 19/20″ M Carbon Compound wheels (front: 9.5 J x 19, rear: 10.5 J x 20) at the 8000vueltas Michelin Trackday. The carbon compound wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires adapted specially for the BMW M4 GTS (front: 265/35 ZR19, rear: 285/30 ZR20). People who attended the event also said that the car sounds fantastic. It gives off a very rough sound with crackles and bangs from the exhausts.
Because of the CFRP/aluminium-composite construction and technology embedded in the wheels, the car saves approximately seven kilograms (15.4 pounds) in weight. That is significantly lighter than an BMW M4 GTS fitted with the standard forged aluminum Style 666 wheels.
We’ve seen the official photos but, it really looks mean in the flesh! This is stunning work from BMW, don’t you think?
Thanks to Bimmerpost for the photos!
