The first photos of the Zinoro 60H surfaced last month. This vehicle was developed in a joint venture between Brilliance-BMW. Brilliance makes new-energy vehicles (NEVs) for the Chinese market. Here are new photos of the new SUV, and it is actually looking sleek!
The first car produced by this Brilliance-BMW venture is Zinoro 1E which was based on the old BMW X1. The new Zinoro 60H is the production version of the Zinoro Next concept, which is based on the new long wheelbase BMW X1 Li.
The Zinoro 60H is classified as a plug-in hybrid car. It is powered by a 136hp 1.5 liter 3-cylinder turbo engine plus a 15hp electric motor. When combined, the output is 151 horsepower. 0-100 is achieved in 7.6 seconds. Fuel consumption is 1.8 liter per 100 kms. When relying on the all electric range, it can deliver up to 60 kms. The same report by CarNewsChina also says that Zinoro is also working on a 60H version.
The Zinoro 60H will launch in the Chinese market. It is also eligible for a full set of NEV subsidies which can add up to almost $14,000 for customers purchasing this vehicle.
