In celebration of their 30th anniversary, AC Schnitzer will be releasing a special edition automobile based on the BMW M240i. The tuner will call the package ACL2S and it will be unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show next month.
AC Schnitzer gave this package a power upgrade. The standard 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine now delivers 440 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, thanks to the ECU reflash, new exhaust, downpipe, and different intake. AC Schnitzer also added their fully adjustable RS suspension kit that lowered the car and allowed for adjusting height, compression, and rebound.
New carbon fiber upgrades make the package unique. It has a carbon front spoiler and splitter, carbon fiber side mirrors, carbon side skirts, carbon rear roof spoiler and a carbon fiber wing, plus a carbon rear diffuser.
The ACL2S also has unique interior trims such as the aluminum pedal set, special “One of Thirty†badge, and a three-spoke leather steering wheel with color-matched stitching. Customers can choose between black or silver AC Schnitzer AC1 Alloy wheels.
Only 30 units of this special edition AC Schnitzer ACL2S will be produced.
