Spy Photos: Is This the New 6 Series or 8 Series?

BMW is about to announce two new models in their lineup – a 6 Series, meant to compete with the famous Porsche 911, and an 8 Series, which will rival the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe. With these 2 new Coupes, BMW will enter two new segments. 

Obviously, the new 6er and 8er won’t be the same, but we’re still not sure which one are we seeing here. This test mule is completely covered in camouflage and, for now, it’s impossible to tell.

While many of you will think that it must be the 6 Series as it’s too small to be the 8er, it’s exactly the size that’s making this riddle so hard. They will both be large as the car on the picture, and there are some (rare) details visible that could also belong to both of them.

The good news is that the car on the pictures looks ready for production, so we will likely find out soon which model it is.
