The 2021 BMW M3 in Sapphire Black Metallic

Here are the latest snapshots of the 2021 BMW M3 in Black Sapphire, credits to Tomasz (@szafiasty). It’s no secret that the new G80 M3 and G82 M4 in darker colours appeal to us. Mostly because they fit the oversized blacked-out grilles perfectly. Darker tones on these recent bold M cars also have something unique about them. This gave them a subtle but aggressive look.

Of course, you can be as adventurous as you want. The launch colours are Isle of Man Green and Sao Paulo Yellow, both of which are distinct and eye-catching. But the possibilities don’t end there. For the two new M brothers, the exterior colour palette is very broad and diverse. The choices are Toronto Red, Alpine White, Sapphire Black, Brooklyn Grey, Skyscraper Grey, and Portimao Blue. The BMW Individual program also has a long list of colour options. You can also order additional exterior colours from the BMW Individual catalogue.

When it comes to G80 M3, the carbon-fiber seats are covered in Sapphire Black flowing until the trim. This will complement the all-black interior. Customers may also order from the available colours they have. As you all know the BMW Individual program is one of the most comprehensive customization systems in the automotive world. Trim combinations, countless colours, and interior are the BMW Individual’s offers.

The addition of the xDrive system to the M3 and M4 models is another milestone. Both are available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, which is a significant departure from previous versions. BMW wanted to try to satisfy everybody, both purists and consumers, and as a result, they produced two distinct vehicles. The ‘base’ M3 and M4 models have rear-wheel drive and manual transmissions. This is specifically what die-hard M3 and M4 fans want.

The spec sheet indicates that these cars are equally matched in terms of performance. Both models have the same acceleration time. You can knock 0.3 seconds off the time for the Competition models.
