The question stands still. Which one is the better pick? To be honest, although I am fond of the current M5 Competition, I think the ALPINA B5 Biturbo is the better choice. In fact, the suspension is quicker and possibly even smoother. And to be frank, it is much more suitable for daily life and can even handle on a twisty lane.

The only aspect where the M5 competes over the B5 is whether when the highway gets extremely windy or when you wind up on a race track. To be perfectly honest, you’re not actually supposed to take the M5 to the track. Get an M2 if you want to drive on a track.
