The Refreshed 2021 BMW 5 Series Facelift Leaked!

The refreshed 2021 BMW 5 Series Facelift has some new photos below that seem to be a part of an official press package. If these are true, then we get a good view of the back and front of the BMW 5 Series G30 LCI with the M Sport package.

There are not tech details yet but design-wise, we see that it has a more sharpened look, kidneys slightly reinterpreted with more visible outer edges and new slats, slimmer and sleeker headlights, and fresh new taillights.

The entry-level hybrid makes use of a four-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor that can deliver up to 252 HP and 420 Nm of torque at once and that power goes to the rear wheels or all four corners of the car via an 8-Speed automatic gearbox which also houses the electric motor.

A hybrid BMW 545e model is also rumored to be in the works. This one will have an in-line six-cylinder and almost 400 hp.

The new 2021 BMW 5 Series Facelift is expected to be unveiled in late May and released later in the year, that is of course if the COVID situation doesn’t affect these timelines.
