BMW presented their M Performance Portfolio at the Essen Motor Show. The German automaker’s stand was amazing! They had lots of tricked out cars fitted with splitters and all kinds of carbon fiber parts you can think of. They also featured a BMW M4 DTM simulator which thrilled the spectators. Check out Martin Tomczyk as he tests it out:
Martin Tomczyk clearly enjoyed the virtual world that the simulator provided. He actually drove the BMW M4 DTM M Performance Parts car in this season of the DTM so he is the best position to tell if this simulator is representative of reality.
After 16 seasons, Martin has unfortunately decided to leave the German championship this year. He is still a part of the BMW Motorsport family though, racing on an international scale. Martin, at 34-years old, already won a title in 2011 and several other wins.
