Top Speed brings us a new render of the upcoming G20 BMW 3 Series.
The current 3 Series generation, the F30, is not quite as popular as it was when it first came out in 2012. Back then, it was a first-class car, both in terms of styling and performance. After four years, however, many new, better cars appeared on the market and the F30 doesn’t seem to be as desirable anymore. It’s tough to say if it’s still better than the competition, for example the Jaguar XE or Mercedes-Benz C Class.
BMW fans are also losing patience, so the company better release the new 3er soon. It’s not the easiest task because it should be the best car in its class, the one that will leave the competition far behind.
The picture above is a G20 BMW 3 Series Top Speed render, and as far as we know, it could be very close to the final design. Compared to the current model, we expect different headlights and kidney grilles, but everything else will probably remain the same.
It’s clear that this design is not something new or revolutionary, but it simply evolved from the previous generation. That doesn’t have to be a bad thing at all, given that the F30 was a great car back when it first came out. We surely wouldn’t want the new 3er to lose some of the great features the current one has, just to upgrade a couple of weak spots.
