The huge engine swap project done by AC Schnitzer some time ago was certainly rememberable. The BMW 150d featured the 3.o-liter tri-turbo mill, originally from the M50d models. The engine was supposed to help bigger cars move around.
But this time, things are a bit different. Â A 3.0-liter straight six engine was used, with an N57S mill and an all-wheel drive system of a 120d xDrive car.
The video above shows the result of the experiment. The 150d takes just 4.5 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h and is overall very fast. Check out more details in the video above.
